The Academy of Mental Health and Counselling’s Learn Centre and online Classroom

The Academy of Mental Health and Counselling has its own Learn Centre which contains the learning materials and discussion boards.

Newrow is our online classroom where we will facilitate our live online workshops.

On enrollment you will be provided with the necessary links to access both the content and the classroom.

Our learning platform is the heart of your study experience. This is where you'll navigate through your course materials, contact your trainers, coaches and supervisors as well as the opportunity to connect with other students and form your own ‘study buddy’ groups.

The Academy of Mental Health and Counselling’s Learn Centre provides you with a secure, interactive learning environment that encourages you to access a wealth of learning resources. 

Once enrolled you will be able to:

●     Access all your course materials, including videos and other digital resources

●     Complete the learning activities related to your course

●     Get to know your fellow students by posting in the course forums, and create your               'Study Buddy' group

●     Connect with your Trainers, Coaches and Supervisors

●     Access extensive online libraries for research

●     Upload your activities, view feedback and access your results

Accessing student support

The Academy of Mental Health and Counselling allocates you to a cohort of learners, an assigned facilitator, support coach and work placement supervisor.

Your experienced facilitators are available to respond to questions either via email, phone or the Learn Centre’s imessaging (email) to answer any questions you may have regarding the learning materials or activities.

Peer support

As a student of The Academy of Mental Health and Counselling you will join a community of people who are also studying online. Through our Learn Centre and our online classroom you can connect and collaborate with others to share study tips and advice. 

Our students find this is a great way to maintain momentum and create lasting friendships and networks. 

Work Placement Support

If your course contains work placement, the work placement support team can provide you with support, advice and resources if you encounter difficulties in securing a workplace for your work placement.
